Join us at the Community Park South Shelter* for our 5th Annual Community Park Campout!

*The South Shelter is located off Short Street just west of the Lisle Police Department adjacent to the pond.


Camping, Nature Activity, S'mores, Games, Crafts...A Night of Family Fun! Grab your camping gear and get ready for an evening under the stars in Community Park! This overnight campout will be a night of family fun!

Please Note: All children must be accompanied by an adult. (No more than 3 children per each adult). Tents and other camping gear will NOT be provided. All ages are welcome!

Why should kids have all the Halloween fun? Join us for our first annual Adult Pumpkin Carving Contest! We’ll carve pumpkins from 4:00-5:45pm and announce winners at 6:00pm. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Come for the pumpkin carving contest & stay for Creature Double Feature at 7:00pm. We’re showing Beetlejuice & Ghostbusters!

Scarecrow Scramble

Register today for the Scarecrow Scramble!

Help us raise money for a great cause and make a difference in someone's life. Register today and run or walk to help us provide recreation scholarships to low-income families who do not have the means to participate in recreation activities, and the Lisle Teens with Character Program.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER! The Scarecrow Scramble relies on the help of volunteers from the local community. Are you looking to get involved? Become a Scarecrow Scramble volunteer! Volunteers will receive at Boo Crew T-shirt, pizza and pop or water. Sign up by Sunday, October 6.

All proceeds for this event will benefit the Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation Scholarship Fund & Lisle Teens with Character Program

Monster Madness

Saturday, October 19 from 4:00-7:00pm
Lisle Recreation Center - 1925 Ohio Street, Lisle


Ages 10 & Under
Punch Card ( 25 Punches) = $10

Come and enjoy a festive autumn fun fair filled with friendly games, ghouls, animals and goodies. Win Halloween prizes and enjoy a snack at the "Creepy Café." Visit the pumpkin patch and the petting zoo. Take a pony ride or a walk through the corn maze designed especially for children and the young at heart. Be sure to dress up in your Halloween costume!

Volunteers still needed! Anyone in 6th grade or older wishing to volunteer for Monster Madness, please download and fill out our Monster Madness volunteer waiver form*, or contact Erica Wise at ewise@lisleparkdistrict.org. All volunteers will receive a Monster Madness t-shirt.

 

*PLEASE NOTE: The only volunteer form that will be accepted for this event is the Monster Monster Waiver Form (found below). The Lisle Park District Volunteer Form will not accepted.

Join us at the museum for games, grub and a behind-the-scenes look with West Suburban Paranormal Investigators!

Come dressed in your halloween costume for a spooktacular evening at the museum. Join us as we celebrate our anniversary with games, grub and more!

You've seen them on TV - come see how they do it! West Suburban Paranormal Investigators will make a special appearance to provide a behind-the-scenes look at some of the methods and gear used by paranormal investigators.
