TIER 3 MITIGATIONS
Due to the Tier 3 Mitigations to stop the spread of COVID-19, indoor fitness classes will not be held until the mitigations are lifted. All classes will be held virtually on Zoom, so you can stay healthy at home!

HOW TO REGISTER:
Registration will open one week prior to the start of each session. You can register for the full session or for a single class anytime throughout the session. If a class has not reached the minimum enrollment before the start date, it may be cancelled.

YOGA & PILATES

Yoga with Karen

Using Vinyasa flow, the yoga postures instructed in this class consist of blending balance, strength and flexibility with an emphasis on breath and body movement, and the transition between poses. This allows us to bring harmony between body and mind. The class moves through seated, standing, kneeling and recline positions. Just about anyone can practice yoga since this user-friendly class puts an emphasis on advancing slowly and safely by using modifications depending on an individual’s ability. These classes are for both beginner and returning students.

Yoga with Amy

Instruction for this class will include asana and vinyasa posture sequences in which relaxation/meditation techniques are introduced as an integral part of yoga philosophy and practice. Just about anyone can practice yoga because there is an emphasis on advancing gradually, sensibly, and safely. These classes are for both beginner and returning students.

Pilates Yoga Fusion

This unique workout is designed to build strength, flexibility and balance. While integrating the strength and sculpting exercises of Pilates and the heart of yoga, your body will be on the way to a more streamlined shape. Breathe, relax, and engage core muscle groups to create renewed energy, a sense of well-being and inner calm.

STRENGTH & CARDIO

The Mix

This all-inclusive format will have something for everybody, at all levels of fitness. Each week will be different from the last while incorporating all muscle groups with strength training, including weights and cardio with an emphasis on the core. Come mix it up with us! Any needed equipment will be emailed out before class. Please have a mat or other soft surface for floor exercises.

Body Blast

Body Blast is an interval training format alternating between cardio and strength work while incorporating mobility and flexibility training in the warmup and cool down. Lots of variety week to week in this one, to keep you challenged and on your toes!

Toning

Perfect for those who want to party, but put extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles!

HOW IT WORKS: The challenge of adding resistance by using ZUMBA® Toning Sticks (or light weights) helps you focus on specific muscle groups so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!

SENIOR FITNESS

Strength & Bone Density

There is scientific evidence that shows the benefits of weight-bearing exercise on bone density. We reach peak bone density in our twenties and begin to lose it in our thirties. This is especially true without proper exercise, diet and with a family history of osteoporosis. This class takes you through a wide variety of light weight bearing exercises to help you stay strong and healthy. Our instructor Holly Ramsdell is certified in senior fitness and has enjoyed teaching seniors since 2009.

Gentle Yoga (formerly Senior Yoga)

Sign up to join this very popular yoga class! The benefits of yoga include improved strength, flexibility, and balance. A chair will be used for the first half of the class to perform various yoga poses. The second half of the class will include poses on the floor. Participants using the floor should use a yoga mat. You do not need to participate in the floor exercise to join this class.

Gold

ZUMBA® Gold is for active older adults who are looking for a modified ZUMBA® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The design of the class introduces easy to follow ZUMBA® choreography that focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, range of motion, balance and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong. This dance-fitness class is suitable for all fitness levels and no experience is necessary. Join the fun!
